Our founder, Tyler Wilson, began in mechanical and plumbing design and BIM coordination. The work brought together system design, equipment selection, duct and pipe layouts, and construction documents—and revealed a recurring problem: systems designed in isolation push conflicts into the field.
IBE was built to close that gap. HVAC and plumbing remain our core disciplines, supported by coordination across architecture, structure, and building-system trades. Connected models help teams plan, sequence, and build with a clearer understanding of the work.
Based in New Hampshire and serving teams across the Northeast, we work with architects, contractors, developers, and engineering firms that need practical, coordinated deliverables and direct engineer involvement.
We also build the tools behind the work. Revit automation, design and extraction workflows, and reality capture help reduce repetitive tasks so engineers can focus on judgment and coordination. We use these tools on our own projects before introducing them to partner teams.
Our commitment extends beyond project work. Tyler serves as an ASHRAE board member and treasurer on the executive board of the ACE Mentor Program of New Hampshire, supporting mentorship and exposure to real engineering for the next generation of AEC professionals.
The goal stays simple: deliver coordinated systems ready for construction, support the field, and strengthen the AEC industry.
